Richard J. Margolis Award - Blue Mountain Center partners with the Richard J. Margolis Award, given annually to a promising new journalist or essayist whose nonfiction work combines warmth, humor and wisdom and sheds light on issues of social justice. You may make a gift via PayPal to Blue Mountain Center and designate it for the Margolis Award by selecting “Richard J. Margolis Award” in the drop-down menu.

BMC Circle of Support - The BMC Circle of Support is a fund intended to offset the costs of coming to a residency for a month through direct financial assistance for residents facing systemic barriers and/or financial need. Generated by the BMC community and sustained by alumni and friends of BMC, this fund is an opportunity for those who have experienced time at BMC to support future residents in doing the same. You may make a gift via Paypal to Blue Mountain Center and designate it for this fund by selecting “BMC Circle of Support” in the drop-down menu.

Your contributions enable us to continue to provide progressive writers, artists, and activists — free of charge — a peaceful and comfortable environment in which they can focus and relax, free from the distractions and demands of normal daily life. Donations to BMC are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
