Harriet Barlow Residency Fund — Established in 2017, this Residency honors Harriet Barlow's work. It will enable and celebrate annually not only a person but a concept central to her moral vision — the Commons — those natural gifts (i.e. air, water, wildlife) and social creations (i.e. libraries, scientific research, public spaces) that we share. Accessibility Fund — In the spring of 2019 the cottage attached to the Guest Cottage, called the Annex, will be renovated inside and out to meet ADA codes. Donating to this fund will help make BMC more equitable and inclusive.

Resident Support Fund — Founded in 2017 by generous BMC alumni and the Adirondack Foundation, this fund provides financial support to accepted applicants of color who require additional resources to participate in BMC's residency program. Donate through the Adirondack Foundation page, and select "Blue Mountain Center Fund" in the drop down menu.

Richard J. Margolis Award — The Margolis Award is granted annually to a promising new journalist or essayist whose work recalls Richard Margolis's warmth, humor, and concern for social issues. It combines a one-month residency at Blue Mountain Center with a $5,000 prize. To learn more, please visit the Margolis Award website.
